This list describes the scenarios in which Cosmic Horizon collects your personal information, the purpose, the method, and the types of information involved. We follow the principle of minimum necessity and collect only what is required to provide each feature.
| Scenario | Purpose | Method | Types of Personal Information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Using the app (analytics & crash diagnostics) | Understand feature usage to improve the product; locate and fix crashes to ensure stability | Automatically collected by the integrated Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) SDK when the app starts and while you use it, with related information processed during network requests | Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language/region settings); app instance identifiers, installation identifiers, identifier for vendor (IDFV); crash diagnostic data; feature usage records (opening search, the selected celestial object identifier, result rank, and result count); IP addresses processed during network communication and coarse geographic statistics derived from them, such as country/region and city. The app does not obtain GPS coordinates through device location services. |
| Feedback | Receive and handle the issues and suggestions you submit | Composed and sent by you from the system mail client (you may edit or cancel at any time) | The app version, OS version, and device model automatically included in the email body, plus the feedback content and email address you voluntarily provide. |
Note: Firebase services are enabled when the app starts and collect the information above during startup and use for analytics and crash diagnostics. Feedback is sent through your device's mail client, entirely at your discretion.
